The 2026 bulletin confirms compulsory Paper I plus selected-subject Paper II and links UGC's syllabus directory. All ten official Paper I unit headings from code 00 are mapped here. Paper II is only a subject-code pointer, so this remains an overview until every selected subject syllabus is mapped. The UGC directory says its syllabus applies from June 2019 onward.

These are only the minimum aggregate percentages across both papers to be considered for Assistant Professor eligibility. They are not final NET/JRF qualifying cutoffs. The bulletin allocates qualifying slots by subject and category and derives actual cutoffs separately.
