Computer Based Examination

One 60-minute paper. PET/PST, medical examination and document verification follow for shortlisted candidates.

Key rules and selection stages

Objective questions carry 2 marks each; 0.25 mark is deducted for a wrong answer. There is no section timer in the notice table.
The minimum CBT eligibility for PET/PST shortlisting is 30% UR, 25% OBC/EWS and 20% other categories, before NCC bonus. Actual cut-offs are state, area, gender and category specific.
PET/PST and medical standards vary by category and region; read sections 12.2–12.5 before applying.
