Each selected question-paper code

One 90-minute CBT per question-paper code. Candidates may choose up to four codes mapped to the programmes they seek. The 75-question total is per code, not a four-paper combined test.

Key rules and selection stages

Each question carries +4 for a correct answer, −1 for an incorrect answer and zero for an unanswered question. Most humanities, sciences and common-subject papers are Hindi–English bilingual; M.Tech/Higher Sciences are English-only. Language and Acharya papers have their own stated medium exceptions.
The 2026 bulletin says universities conduct their own counselling using the NTA scorecard, with their programme eligibility, reservation and admission policies. It does not set one CUET PG admission cutoff.
