One 180-minute English-only test; the bulletin gives a shared duration and no fixed sectional timers.

Key rules and selection stages

Each correct answer scores +4, an incorrect answer −1 and an unattempted question zero. NTA may hold the CBT in multiple shifts and describes percentile normalization in the bulletin.
NTA does not run CMAT admission counselling. Participating institutions publish their own programme cut-off scores and selection process; there is no single NTA admission cutoff.
